Wow and aha moments in the forest

Play, discover and enjoy a breathtaking view. There are plenty of adventures for young and old on 60,000 square meters. From a height of up to 40 meters, you can enjoy fantastic views of the Allgäu Alps and Lake Constance.

The view of the Allgäu Alps and Lake Constance alone will awaken feelings of happiness. On the 540-metre-long treetop path "Skywalk", adventure-seekers stroll through the treetops. This view of the forest is something special. It takes a little courage on the swinging hanging bridge construction. It's worth it in the end. With a bit of luck, nature lovers will come face to face with the red kite and can watch the mighty birds in flight. Wheelchair users and baby carriages can access all levels of the treetop walk via a glass elevator, right up to the 40-metre-high viewing platform. For all climbing enthusiasts, there is an alternative descent through the net tunnel. Children can test their dexterity and ability to handle heights by walking through wobbly slabs and suspended beams. A curvy tube slide then takes them one floor down. The journey of discovery continues on an area the size of eight soccer pitches. Special forest experience stations, which were developed in collaboration with educators, challenge all the senses. First, use your feet and your own weight to maneuver the ball into a hole on the wobble labyrinth, then run after the clacking ball on the track through the forest.

Can dad really jump as high as the fox? At the very back in the quiet corner, mom lies in the bird swing and watches the mighty trees. On the forest adventure trails, there are many folding, pressing, smelling and learning boards to delve deeper into the forest cosmos. After so much exercise, it's time for a break to recharge your batteries. The kitchen team invites you to enjoy Allgäu Kässpatzen and Maultaschen. In addition to the light-flooded glass house, the beer garden with its panoramic view of the Allgäu Nagelfluh mountain range also offers space for large family tables. Here, children can let off steam in small playgrounds within sight of each other. The Waldwelt Allgäu invites the whole family to spend an impressive day in nature - which makes all family members completely happy.
