Named an honorary citizen of Meßkirch, Martin Heidegger is considered one of the most influential philosophers of the 20th century. The museum chronicles Heidegger’s life and the stages of his philosophical thoughts. Other parts of the exhibition deal with the topics of “Heidegger as the son of Meßkirch” and “Heidegger and art.”
