Our research goal at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior is to understand the pulse of the planet through the eyes and ears of animals. In mid-2019, the institute in Radolfzell was separated from the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology in Seewiesen and became an independent institution. The MPI of Animal Behavior now consists of three departments and a research group, which are located both in Radolfzell and on the campus of the University of Konstanz.
