GermanyBouldering is a form of rock climbing at jump off height. It is a reduction to the bare essentials involving no ropes, hooks or fear of heights. And if you don’t have the strength to reach the highest grip, you simply fall back onto a thick crash mat. The Ravensburg Bouldering Centre has something for everyone: families, novice climbers and more ambitious sportspeople. With about 180 routes offering varying degrees of difficulty across some 650 square metres of wall, there’s no chance of becoming bored.
Anyone wanting to take a break can get their strength back in the bistro while watching the other climbers do the business. In the lovingly designed children’s area, even our smallest guests can acquire their very first climbing experience and romp around to their heart’s content.
Climbing shoes are available for hire on site. A boulder problem presents climbers with a puzzle that can only be solved through a combination of technique, coordination, strength and creativity. Bouldering is a new sport which is growing in popularity worldwide and fast becoming all the rage.
