The first vine on the island of Reichenau was planted in 818 by monks from the Reichenau monastery. We have been carrying on this tradition for countless generations, since 1894 as Winzerverein Insel Reichenau. 1200 years of winemaking tradition - in every bottle!

Vinotheque at Münsterplatz 2a:
Our vinotheque is located at the entrance to the cathedral's monastery courtyard. Here you can taste and purchase our wines within the historic walls.
Public wine tastings:
Guests, spontaneous visitors and small groups can learn all about Reichenau wine at our public wine tastings. The public wine tastings usually take place on Thursday evenings. Enquiries at the vinotheque or call 07534/293
Private wine tastings:
Tell us your preferred date and the number of guests and we will organise wine experts to guide you through the wine tasting. We can present either four or six wines with some bread and water. Enquiries at weinprobe@winzerverein-reichenau.de
