Löhningen - the white island in the Blauburgunderland

The Löhningen winegrowers' co-operative was founded in 1951 and is located in the trotte, which was built in 1603. In the trotte there is a well-preserved original tree trotte dating back to 1713. The southern foot of the Randen with its limestone and gravel soils offers ideal conditions for our viticulture. A total of 11 grape varieties are cultivated on 13.5 hectares. This results in exclusive wines for every occasion, from light, sparkling aperitif wines to full-bodied specialities matured in oak barrels.
