Ascent of the Mehlsack Ravensburg

Ravensburg, Germany

Ravensburg is the “town of towers and gates”. Ravensburg’s landmark is the gleaming white Mehlsack. Built around 1425, it rises high above the town in brilliant white. It owes its name to its round shape and light-coloured plaster. On some days you can see as far as Lake Constance and the Säntis!
