In Germany's most beautiful and spacious monkey enclosure, there are no bars or ditches separating visitors from the monkeys. There is the option of experiencing the Barbary macaques on 11 hanging bridges and 12 platforms at a height of up to 12 meters.
A 250m-long treewalk leads through the treetops of the old beech forest on the Affenberg. With around 50 breeding pairs, the largest free-flying stork colony in southern Germany raises its young here every year. A lively herd of fallow deer, a large adventure playground and a cozy beer garden complete the unique excursion experience on the Affenberg.
