In the "Mohren World of Beer", immerse yourself in an enthralling experience covering more than 700 m² and exploring all aspects of beer. Enjoy an interactive and multimedia insight into the history of brewing beer in the Vorarlberg’s oldest traditional brewery. The highlight of the exhibition is the historical 19th-century brewing equipment which has been lovingly restored. In addition to the numerous exhibits focusing on all things “beer”, interesting information about the brewing process and this historical cultural heritage is presented in a very clear and graphic manner.
The jewel in the exhibition is the historical brewing equipment from the Schäfle tavern brewery in Satteins. This dates back to the 19th century and was still operational until 1917. Mohren acquired this equipment in 1989. It has been meticulously restored for the museum. The brewing equipment is only one of the numerous exhibits that bring the history of beer to life.
Group visits with a beer sommelier are possible for 10 or more people.
For Mohren, beer is more than just a drink. It is a cultural heritage steeped in tradition. A visit to the museum brings the history of brewing to life.
When was beer first brewed? How does the beer production process work? What does the perfect beer taste like? Where did the Mohren Brewery get its name? The answers to all these questions and more can be found in the Mohren World of Beer.
