On the theme of water, the SeeGang is entirely in its element. The 53-kilometre-long Premium hiking trail connects the cities of Constance and Überlingen. Depending on walkers’ tastes and condition, the route can be shortened by taking a boat, bus or train. The Gehrgenberg-Lake Constance holiday area is situated to the north of Lake Constance and boasts unspoilt nature not far from the lake shore. The award-winning circular routes follow forest trails and country lanes and always lead to the so-called "LandLiegen" and "Landbänke", which offer fascinating views over Lake Constance.
The Hegau region at the western end of Lake Constance is characterised by nine, mighty volcanic cones. Nine Premium hiking trails make their way through the volcanic landscape, leading to roaring waterfalls, handsome knights’ castles and romantic gorges.
Characteristics: The “Grenzgänger” is the only Premium hiking trail to cross the border into Switzerland while the “Aacher Geißbock” starts at the Aachquelle, Germany’s largest natural spring.
