Are you looking for a bit more of a challenge? Then we have the perfect tour for you! The starting point can be reached from Friedrichshafen (12 km) or Meersburg (16 km). From Michaelsberg, several moderate ascents take you up Höchsten hill, the highest mountain of the Bodensee region. Once you have reached the top, you should take time for a break and savour the splendid panoramic views. Afterwards, it’s time to put on your helmet again and get ready for the action-fuelled descent!

One thing’s for sure: This tour is not for inexperienced riders! After all, you will follow in the footsteps (or bicycle tracks) of world champions along the 50-kilometre route. Via various steep ascents, the 2017 World Championship track runs past mighty knight’s castles, impressive rock formations and vast landscapes. If you’re looking for a less challenging alternative, there’s also a shorter version of the route. However, keep in mind that the shorter, 30-kilometre offroad version is still quite demanding!
