The Urban Museum and Gallery has earned an excellent reputation beyond the region with its archaeology department, urban history, religious art and various art exhibitions. The entire family will enjoy the Ice Age park and the film in the prehistory department “Reindeer hunters in Brudertal” that depicts life 15,000 ago. The famous “Venus of Engen” also dates from this period. Curators present the story of the Petersfels discovery, the significant finds and much more from the site.
