Pfänderbahn Bregenz am Bodensee mit der Bodensee Card PLUS

The Pfänder cable car in Bregenz

Bregenz, Austria

The Pfänder – local mountain on Lake Constance

Conquer around 600 meters of altitude in six minutes and experience a different world - far away from the hustle and bustle, on the 1064 m high Pfänder. Nature and the view of Lake Constance and 240 Alpine peaks in Germany, Austria and Switzerland will put your mind at rest.

A unique panorama - ride into the mountains in 6 minutes

The blue gondola is visible from afar. Throughout the day, the Pfänderbahn takes you up the 1,064-metre-high panoramic mountain. For those who love exploring, there is plenty to see and do up there.

What a view! From up here, you'll get the best view on Bregenz and Lake Constance. And it looks really huge from above. In addition to the stunning view of the lake and the numerous mountains to the south, a visit to the Pfänder offers many other attractions.

Families love the freely accessible Alpine Wildlife Park, which is home to marmots, mouflons, deer, ibex and wild boar. The action starts right at the mountain station. Brave juniors bounce through the air on the bungee trampoline*, others slide, climb, swing or visit the goats and rabbits in the small animal park. Hikers choose one of the many trails.

Good to know:
The Pfänderbahn runs daily from 8 am to 7 pm (except for a short inspection period in November). Bicycles are transported free of charge until 10 am.

For a change of perspective and a panoramic view, book our seminar room on the mountain.
